Thrive at Hebrew University is a unique, fully accredited semester abroad program. Students can choose from a plethora of courses offered at one of the world’s leading universities, the Rothberg International School (RIS) at Hebrew University. One exciting aspect is the RIS Ulpan, which help students focus on internalizing Hebrew and learning its practical usage. After Ulpan you will be able to use your newly acquired skills to buy falafel and negotiate in the marketplace like a real Israeli!
Thrive has an exclusive course where professors tackle critical legal, ethical and moral issues encompassing the fields of Business and Law fields through comparing and contrasting the American and Jewish legal systems. Students will acquire both perspective and direction leading to an enhanced self-awareness as Jews in American society. Additionally, the beginning of Thrive will include a two-week course titled Jerusalem Geography, which will familiarize students with our capitols rich history as well as acquaint them to their new home through lectures, tours and activities throughout Jerusalem.
Thrive complements these profound academic studies with a broad spectrum of exhilarating extra-curricular activities and ‘Shabbatons’: ATV in the dessert, splash your friends while floating in the Dead Sea, acquire the secrets of Kabala in Tzfat and much more.
